One of my favorite days of the year is the day of our Easter Egg Hunt. Yes, it's crazy that us adults get so excited for an egg hunt, but what can I say? There's a $20 egg up for grabs plus some $10, $5 and $1 bills and a whole lot of change to find and we love it! Josh and I have been the champs for the past 3 years - we were very confident that this year we would continue our reign.
This is us - Team Beutler ready for action.

And Hayley and Caleb looked the part, but we weren't scared. And Justin and Steph had a slight disadvantage since Steph is 8 months prego. 
Grammie hid the kids eggs so we let them go first and we watched as they hunted the eggs. Some of them were not hard to find as they were as big as the girls are! The girls scored bigtime though with stuffed animals, candy and makeup! Grammie sure knows the way to their hearts!
Then the adults were off! It was a tough fight and there were lots of good hiding places. We all got our fair share.
But in the end... 
The champion was... 
Justin!
Yes, Josh and I lost this year (we actually lost bigtime!) and Justin and Steph stole the championship from us. They barely beat Hayley and Caleb by about a dollar, but we were dead last. We figured we had to give someone else a chance to win once in a while! We had fun even though we did lose!

This makes us sad to be away! This is such a fun family tradition. Everyone is looking so good in these pictures--what a good looking family!
I'm glad Hayley and Caleb at least came in second so the ole quivering chin didn't come out :)
