Snow Day

Last Saturday Alta ski resort had a coat drive in exchange for an all-day skiing pass. I wanted to get some passes for Josh, so Rease, Hayley and I headed up there to participate. Little did we know that everyone else in the world had heard about the coat drive too and we ended up in a very long line waiting for tickets. It turned out they only gave them to the first 500 people so we were out of luck. I wish you could really see how long the line was, but the ticket booth is the cabin building behind us and we were so not one of the first 500 people. I was also a dummy and didn't really think about a coat or good shoes and socks for Rease, I guess I didn't think there would be snow on the ground - I should have remembered that it's a ski resort!
Anyway, Rease was so happy to play in the snow. She for sure gets this from her dad because I on the other hand hate being cold. She isn't crying in this picture because she's cold, she just wants to be down playing in the snow.

See how happy that makes her!

We ended up standing in line for about an hour and Rease was ready for a nap by the time we were done.
So even though we didn't get what we went up for, we had a good time chatting with the people around us and letting Rease have a day in the snow.

Pile of Diapers

I had to post of picture of this before I put all the diapers away. Last week there was a great deal on diapers at Walgreens so... I decided to stock up. I ended up buying 60 packages of diapers and figured since I'm having another baby, why not? We're set for a while I think!
This has also been a great way to entertain Rease the past few days. Notice the pile is tipped over - that's because she takes once pack away at a time and carries it all over the house. I even found one outside on our lawn the other day. I guess it's time to put them away. Anyway - yeah for good deals!

Elder Losee

Once again, I am late with these pictures. My little brother left for his mission two weeks ago and I wanted to post some pics - better late than never I guess. He is going to Puerto Rico - yeah! Of course we had to have lunch before the MTC and he chose Tucanos which was very yummy. Grandma Wisniewski was here for the week and came with us - along with Stephanie, Justin's girlfriend. Her brother left two weeks later so Justin and her had to go the MTC twice in a row - sad.

This is the only picture I got with his luggage all ready to go.
The fam in front of the MTC - minus Chad, Britt and Nolan who are in Dallas.

He's official - tag and everything!

We really aren't supposed to have cameras once we get into the room, but Hayley snuck one last picture of Garrett reading with Rease - she is going to miss him!

He will be in the MTC in Provo for three weeks and then will go to the MTC in the Dominican Republic for 5 weeks. We miss him already but love hearing how he is doing so far!

Our Halloween

We did a lot of Halloween things this year and I just haven't had time to post them, so here is our "Halloween Season" post with everything together.

Josh and I took Rease to the "Wee Witches Night" at Gardner Village. I love that place at Halloween because they decorate it so cute and it's fun for everyone.

Rease actually like wearing the hat for once and let us get a few pictures of her. She's in the mood now of not wanting to pose for pictures - opposite of how she used to be. I think it's because Josh showed her how to work the camera, so whenever I get the camera out now she reaches for it instead of standing still like a good girl.
A family tradition that we always had growing up was having a dinner made in the pumpkin. My mom decided to try that again this year.

Pumpkin carving contest - Hayley and Robbie won with their carving of "The Office."

Halloween night started with Rease in her ladybug costume. Yes it is a little small, but I squeezed her into it anyway.

Reaching for the camera again.

Trick-or-treating at Uncle Justin's house. She wasn't sure what to do at the doorstep but loved the candy once she actually got some.

Next - on to grandpa and grandma's house.

She didn't last long with the trick-or-treating. We got home and carved our pumpkins. Josh is a serious pumking carver. He hates carving them before Halloween day because he doesn't like them all shriveled up. Plus, even though we never officially have a contest against each other, he always makes his look better than mine.

Rease thinks everything is a phone - even shoes.
We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
