There is something you ought to know...

Natalie Jean has been on a shopping spree. Not the bad kind that makes our budget resemble those people at Cirque De Sole; bending and stretching in places where it is just unnatural. More like the good kind that makes me sleep easy.

This time it was diapers:

12 packs @ $1.00 each = a couple months of poo catchers for not a lot of cash.

I can't tell you how good of timing it is because Rease is almost exclusively eating solid (human) foods. If' you'd like proof come over and smell the corner of our garage near the trash can.

Natalie is no dummy, she likes being prepared, so she bought some slightly smaller diapers for down the road.

Speaking of down the road, Rease has been showing off a new addition to her wardrobe of chub-covering t-shirts (try and read it through the watermelon drool).

(Back),

Yes that is right, Natalie is PREGNANT!!

After a rollercoaster week of our doctor telling us we were pregnant, then telling us we were going to miscarry, then finding out the low levels were the result of a lab error we are pleased to announce we are having another little one!! And on a related note, we are considering firing our doctor!!

The only good thing about the drama is that we have early proof of our little peanut.

He's still just a little guy but is growing fast. I had the pleasure of being there while these photos were shot and I'm pretty much 100% positive that I saw his "twig and berries".

As you can imagine Rease is beside herself and has decided to celebrate by gorging herself on PBJ's, Bananas, Grapes, Whole Milk, and Graham Crackers along with any other food someone else is trying to eat.

July 4th Part II - Demolition Derby

Our favorite part of the 4th of July is the Demolition Derby - you can see why. Lots of action and as Brittney would say "very white trash." So great!

Rease followed everyone else's lead and put her hand on her heart for the national anthem - what a smart girl.

Rease got a little nervous as all the cars started their engines...

Just some pictures of the action...

Once she got past the noise, Rease was very into it all - just like a true Deltan.

This was one of our favorites - they had to stop the derby to flip him back over.

Rease was very concerned...
This was another great moment. The guy on top wouldn't lay off the gas so the other dude was totally smoked out.

Cheering with the rest of us!

We were sitting on the very top row and even then the dirt would flip up to us once in a while - the little boy in front of us got dirt in his nachos.

What a fun day!

Our 4th of July Celebration

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Delta like always. Josh loves going as much as I do so we end up there every year. Rease had a very eventful weekend too enjoying every part of the celebration. Friday morning we hit the parade - Rease was in sugar heaven with all the candy that she caught on the parade route.

Grandpa Losee was on the Veterans float - he was excited about that!

There was plenty of candy to go around and Rease got her fair share.

Rease chased after the bubbles...
... and the candy.
Found some!

She made a mess eating everything with the wrappers on - she didn't mind.

She even shared some with mom!

Funnest parade around!
