Hanging out with Aunt Hayley

Aunt Hayley watched Liev and took some cute pics of him and his sweetness.

Oh how I love this darling boy!

Easter festivities

Aunt Hayley was nice enough to watch our kids one night while we went out. While we were gone, they had a lot of Easter fun. She made rice-krispie eggs with the girls and, as you can see, they had a blast and made a mess while they were at it!

The finished product. They sent these lovely treats with Uncle Garrett for his soccer trip to Puerto Rico. I'm sure they are as delicious as they are pretty!

Thanks to Aunt Hayley, these girls had some Easter fun!

Rease's babies

Rease is going to be a good mom someday. She is already such a good little mommy to all her toys and babies. I found all her "babies" asleep in their "beds" one day when I walked upstairs. They were such good babies - not one peep out of them while they were asleep!

And what nice blankets and pillows the huggies wipes make!
Love that girl!

Fun with the Wagner kids

We've been hanging out with the Wagner kids a lot lately. First of all, it's been nice enough outside to actually be out of the house. Second, Kilee and I have both had to pick up some extra days at the office. So when she has to work and extra day, I watch her kids and vice versa. So here are some pics of our adventures together.

This is the day I picked Beckem and Taylee up and squeezed all five kids (and five carseats, which was even harder) into the van. It was a tight ride home, but we all made it.

When Kilee had my kids at her house, she took these cute pics of the kids having fun together.

She even had time to do super cute hair for the girls.

Rease and Beckem play so good together - it makes it easier to watch all 5 kids when they have fun playing together.

Then one day when the weather was actually nice enough to take the kids outside, we spent the afternoon at Wheeler Farm. The kids had fun running around, chasing the ducks, seeing the baby sheep, playing on the haystacks and just hanging out together. It was such a fun and nice day for everyone!

I love this picture of the older kids. It was a good ending to a fun day!
Thanks to Kilee for watching my kids when I need it and thanks to Beckem and Taylee for playing so good with us!

Springtime

Spring is here and it's starting to show. I walked outside today and, for the first time this year, I really felt that spring had sprung. These are some of my favorite things to see (because that means warm weather is almost here to stay)

Our tree out front is starting to sprout some new branches...

And the buds will soon be leaves.

I love this tree in our front yard. It's beautiful and full of leaves during the summer.

The flowers are blooming...

And the kids can play outside! That's a good thing for everyone! We have been cooped up for a long winter and are so happy to have these nice days to play outside!
Welcome spring! We have been waiting for you!

Two extremes

This is a picture at dinnertime last night. I just wanted you to see the two extremes that my girls are right now. Yes, we have the princess and the streaker in our house.

And they are not afraid to be who they are.

2 months old

Hi everyone! I'm two months old now. I just went to see Dr. Erickson and he says I am "Fantastic." Here are my stats:

Weight: 11.79 lbs - 49%

Height: 23.35 inches - 63%

Head: 16.1 inches - 72%

My mom and dad love me and take good care of me. So do my sisters. They are always kissing me and hugging me and most of the time just won't leave me alone. That's okay. I am happy to smile for them when they want to play with me. I smile a lot now. I am also a very good sleeper. I sleep from 10:30 at night until 7:00 the next morning. My mom seems to be much more alert and happy now that I sleep so long at night. I am happy to have a family that loves me so much. I will keep you posted on what other new things I start doing. For now, I guess that's it. Happy 2 months old to me!

Baby Liev

I took this picture the day that Liev had his 2 month shots (notice the band-aids.) Rease was so concerned about him and if his legs hurt that she decided that holding this squishy toy would help him out. She wrapped his arm around it and surprisingly he didn't let go. I guess it did help!

Yogurt

Rhen came to me after eating (or not eating as these pictures show) yogurt one morning and said, "mom look at my pretty makeup." Nice Rhen. Yogurt's not for eating anyway, right?

Play-Doh

Our cute neighbor boys were over the other day and brought their play-doh along. They all had a blast playing with it and making their own shapes and figures. Rease stuck with pink the whole time and Rhen couldn't stay with one color for more than one minute - that's my girls for ya.

Rhen had me make something with the green so I made a worm - you can see it in the background. I made an extra head and she wanted me to see it. Now really close. This is how the worm turned out.
Carson was busy making a snowman.
His snowman had hands, feet and all!
And Rease made this pink flower out of a mold.
Fun times with play-doh.

Tummy Time

Liev doesn't love tummy time, but he is getting so good at holding his head up. I snapped these pics before he got too cranky. He is ready to be done here - enough tummy time.

He is such a sweet boy!

The boys

My two favorite boys. Can I just say something about my husband? He loves being a dad - and he's especially loving it now that he's not the only man in the house. Him and Liev are buds and hang out together a lot. Josh is so so good with our newborns - he does most of the middle of the night stuff so that I can get a good nights sleep. With Liev, he's been taking the middle of the night feeding which normally falls around 3:00 or 4:00. Then he puts the baby back to bed before he heads off to the gym and then straight to work. What a guy. I dont' know how he does it on so little sleep, but he does and we love him for it! Liev is sleeping through the night now though so Josh is able to get a few more hours of sleep before he starts his day. He is the best and we are all lucky to have him as our man!

This is our loaner rocking chair - our puff rocker chair ripped and we had to use this big wooden chair until the new one came. Believe me, we are ready to have our puff chair back!

So Liev is starting to smile. I tried to catch some of them on camera, but the flash kept throwing him off - these are the best I came up with. Our sweet baby boy is so cute with a smile on his face!
