Nolan Chad Losee

Chad and Brittney blessed Nolan on Sunday between General Conference sessions. Britt's family was in town so they decided to do it when everyone could be there.

Grandpa and Grandma Losee came ...

with Celia and the girls.

The two cousins are best friends already!
(I love the puckered lips on both of them - I think it's caused by the chubby cheeks!)

St. George Marathon 2007

Dad and Hayley the morning of the marathon. It was a cold morning - I think they said it was 39 degrees at the starting line.

Dad's 10th marathon! He finished at 3:53:18.

Hark had her best time of 4:30:01!

This is just how you feel after running 26.2 miles...

We are proud of them!

The massages that make it all worth it!! (I think Hayley got the award for longest massage this year - sorry dad.)

Baldy

Rease has been slowly losing her hair the past few weeks. I was in a little bit of denial about it because I can't really believe that my girl who was born with all her hair could possibly lose it all. Then one day I noticed these tiny hairs in her crib and I had to start accepting the fact that she was going bald.

This is her now - cute as ever but with a lot less hair. It is coming in blonde and it's not easy to see unless you get really close.

And this is what happened right after the last picture - it doesn't even phase her anymore.

Pretty in blue...

Now that it's fall, I love dressing Rease up in her warm clothes.

She's finally big enough to fit into shoes...

And this blue sweater is one of my favorites - I had to take these of her all ready for church.

Plus she looks so good next to her daddy!

Snow in September?

Today is September 29th and we are having our first snowstorm right this minute.

I just took these pictures from our house about 2 minutes ago. Does it usually snow this early?

Josh and Rease are obviously excited about this!

3 years!

Josh and I left Rease at my mom's for her first sleepover while we went away for our 3rd anniversary. We stayed in Wolf Creek up Ogden Canyon on Sunday night - the night it rained (and snowed not too far from us.) It was so beautiful - the perfect fall day with great color everywhere!

This is up at Snow Basin - of course Josh had to stop and I could tell he was dreaming of the skiing days that are not too far off now.

What a beautiful time of year - I love everything about fall (except the fact that winter is just around the corner.) But I love enjoying it while it's here and celebrating our anniversary right in the middle of it all!

3 years and going strong!

Paragliding Continued...

2 weeks ago I took my first paragliding trip. I promised more pictures so here they are... I guess a little better late than never.

As you could imagine my pilot (Chris) fit the physical profile of one of those "extreme athletes" (5'6" and around a buck fifty). I think this picture serves as a good illustration of our different builds. (I'm still walking normal)

For a moment there I didn't think we were going to make it.

We did get up close and personal with some sage brush but pulled out of it pretty quickly.

Cruisin' @ around 7000 feet.

Incredible time, I highly recommend it.

Early Fall Camp in American Fork Canyon

Rease proved herself to be a true Beutler this past weekend as we went up to beautiful American Fork Canyon for here first overnighter.

Of course, no body is perfect. (she loved camping and hated the "sock mittens")

It was great to have Aunt Whitney along

Future Uncle Ty came too.

Aunt Robin was super sweet to Rease which made her first camp all the better.

We were happy to see BYU Freshman and future valedictorian Sarah Hansen

Grandma and Grandpa Losee came up early and left before it got too late.

Uncle Joe brought his latest "Mistress" Melissa (or was it Melinda?) and, as usual was a force to be reckoned with.

Just when we thought we had a full crew, Garth Brooks (Greg Robbins, our friend, neighbor and fellow "gym rat") showed up and gave us a stunning rendition of "The Thunder Rolls" as a thunderstorm came through about 11 PM.

We played games by the fire into the early morning. All in all it was about as good as it gets.

Great friends and family = Great memories
