A dip in the pool...
We had a pool just outside the backdoor of the house we stayed at in Mexico.
Uncle Justin and Rease - don't you love the polka-dot bikini?
Rease loved the water (after she got used to the cold - it took a few minutes.)
Cousin Nolan - not so much. He did better in the heated pool we went to later in the week.

Christmas 2007
We spent Christmas this year in Mexico with my family - wahoo! We had a great time! Josh and I decided to do our own "Christmas Morning" before we left so we didn't have to haul all the gifts to Mexico. So these are from our Christmas morning on Saturday December 22nd...
Rease was all smiles waiting to open gifts.
I love this face! She is in love with soft squishy things, so of course she loves this bear. Doesn't this just capture the emotion?
And now... smiles for the camera.
Rease got a little bored while Josh and I opened gifts...so she went for the paper.
Realizing that it doesn't taste as good as her toys do...
Another smile.
We had a great Christmas - more pictures of Mexico are on the way!

Finally a High Chair
I know a high chair is probably long overdue for us with a 6 mo old, but we just got around to getting one this past week. Actually Holly, does this look familiar? I got the idea off your tutusandturtles blog - we loved the look of it when we saw it. It's actually really cool and has wheels and a brake on the bottom, plus it's very easy to move up and down. As you can see, Rease likes it too. She can now officially be part of the family dinners.

1/2 year old
Rease had her 6 month birthday and check-up on the 6th of December. Has it already been 6 months? I can't hardly believe it - but on the other hand, I can't imagine life without her.
6 month stats from Dr. Frei:
Weight: 18 lbs. 9 oz. - 91%
Height: 26.8 inches - 86%
Head: 18 inches - over 99%
So, as you can see from the numbers and the picture, Rease has a large head. So big that our Dr. is sending her for a CT scan today to make sure there's not something else going on. She assures me that it is most likely nothing, but last check-up she told me that if this time we didn't see her head growth start to taper off, then she would have us do this scan. So here we are again on our way up to Primary Children's Hospital today. I think she just has a dad with a big head, but we will see.
A close-up of her little chompers pokin through...
Rease's new favorite toy is her walker. She hasn't quite figured out how to move around very quickly, but she does go backwards pretty good. Look at those chunky legs though - they have to be good for moving herself around in the near future!

Cute pics of Rease
Josh dressed her Gangsta style.
Cheering on the Cougars!!
Rease loves her baths.
Learning to sit up on her own.
Early morning...
Well, I realize that it has been way too long since we posted anything...sorry. It has been a crazy month but with a lot of good stuff going on.

My sister Hayley and I took advantage of the early morning Black Friday sales and got our Christmas shopping done. I've always gone early but this year we decided to go really early so we wouldn't miss out on what we were looking for. We decided to go to Target and get everything in one shot. So Friday at 1:30 a.m. we headed out with blanket, pillows and treats to wait out the long night until it opened at 6:00. We actually weren't the only crazy ones - there were about 8 people in line when we got there. It ended up being an okay night - cold but we made it - and we had a great time doing it! Plus, best of all, I am completely done with my shopping. We aren't doing many gifts this year because we are taking a family trip, so that makes it easy for me. I couldn't put all my good deals on here because they are all for Josh - but maybe you'll get to see them after Christmas!

Delta Rabbit for Halloween
I dressed up as a bunny this year for Halloween and it was a great costume for me since I am a Delta Rabbit at heart.
Mom was a gypsy and we went trick-or-treating to some of our neighbors.
Dad didn't dress up at all and that's why he's not in the pictures - party pooper.
Uncle Andy came over and I love him very much....
I got really tired with everything going on and couldn't help but take a little nap...
I was really trying to keep my binky in - I did the best I could.
Then I played with daddy for a while.
He kissed me so much...
I finally had to tell him to stop!
It's a little bit hard to tell what uncle Joe has in his hand (and is feeding me) so let me zoom in...
Chocolate! I needed a good treat after the long night I had.
I hope everyone had as good of a Halloween as I did!!
