Motorcycle Ride

Greg came over today and gave all the kids a ride on his motorcycle.  He told all of them that they needed to have long pants, shoes and helmets on.  I love the outfit that Keen came up with!

Big Eyes

Baby Desh inherited the Losee big eyes like the rest of his siblings did.  Along with the big eyes,  he has the longest curly eyelashes!  What a cutie!

Golden State Warriors

We have loved watching the Warriors play this season.  It has become a family event to watch the games and the girls love it.  We had them each pick out a shirt and Rhen chose a Klay Thomson shirt and Rease chose Steph Curry.  We all get in our Golden State gear and sit and watch the games together - usually with a treat from the Sweet Tooth Fairy in front of us!  Nothing better than that!

Splash Pad

Justin, Hayley and I all met at the splash pad with all our kids today.  It was a perfect afternoon because it wasn't super hot for those of us that were sitting and watching, but it was warm enough for the kids to enjoy the water.  We snapped this cute picture of everyone while we were there!  So cute!

Tummy Time

Baby Desh has been working on his tummy time.  He doesn't necessarily love it and most of the time after struggling for a minute he usually falls asleep.  What a sweet little guy!

Our Birds

We've had a bird nest in the eaves underneath our deck.  We been keeping an eye on our little birds for a few weeks now and watching them hatch and grow up.  Today we found one of the baby birds on the floor in our basement.  I'm sure it was trying to fly and hadn't quite gotten the hang of it.  After the kids all held it, Josh put it back up in the nest.  Hopefully it learns to fly soon!

Sore Bum

We have a sad boy at our house.  Desh has the sorest bum right now.  Everytime he poops or pees it makes his rash worse and makes him so sad!  Today I let him air out a little bit and see if that gives him any relief.  Poor boy!

Liev's preschool graduation

Liev has had a really fun year at preschool this year.  Miss Melanie has been so great and has taught him a lot.  They had a little graduation ceremony today for all of us to come and see what they've learned.
She spotlighted each of the kids and read a little something about them.
Then they performed some of the songs that they learned and have been working on all year.

She sent home a packet of things with them and in it was some assessments she had done throughout the year.  It was really fun to look through and see the progress that he has made!

Good job Liev on completing your year of preschool!  On to Kindergarten!

Summertime

Summertime is officially here when we get swimsuits and popsicles out!  Here's to an amazing summer in the sun!

Fun Outside

Somehow my kids snatched my phone and took some pictures of themselves playing around outside.  Of the many pictures they took, there were actually a few cute ones!  Love these kiddos and that they love playing outside together!

Rease turns 9!

Rease was really hoping that Baby Desh was going to be born on her birthday.  We all figured it would be pretty close to it even if it wasn't right on her birthday.  Well he surprised us and came even earlier than we thought so now we get to celebrate Rease's birthday and she gets it all to herself!  She told me she wanted an emoji birthday so that's what we did.  She picked out which emoji she wanted on the cake and then I made cupcakes with all the other cool emojis.  She was happy with how it all turned out!

We had just a family birthday party this year so all the cousins and the Hammers were there to sing to Rease.

After cake and ice cream she opened her presents.  Grammie was the hero of the day and got Rease the best birthday present ever - a family of Beanie Boos.  She got her the extra large Tasha and a small and baby sized one too.  Rease was so so excited as you can see!
Most of all though, we loved being able to celebrate with our oldest daughter.  We love her to death!  Here are a few of my favorite things about Rease at age 9:
1) Rease has always been very mature for her age and has always wanted to help out however she can.  That has been true even more this year as the other kids are getting older and I am needing more help.  She is my right hand gal and I ask a lot of her.  She is always willing and (mostly) always kind to her siblings!  I couldn't ask for a better oldest child!
2) Rease loves school and loves to learn.  She is bright, a hard worker, a good listener and learns very quickly.  She has always been in the top of her class at school and keeps wanting to get better.  She especially loves to read and has started reading to Rhen at nights.  It's so cute to hear them up in their room reading and chatting into the late hours of the night.  I'm so proud of her and the things she has learned in 3rd grade this year.
3) Rease is a child at heart and I think she always will be.  She has an innocence about her that I hope she never loses.  She still loves to make believe, play with toys, dress up her small stuffed animals and do anything that is fun.  I know kids grow up and Rease is definitely getting older, but I love how child-like she is still.  She is a sweet girl.

9 year old stats from Dr. Erickson:
Weight: 92.15 lbs - 94%
Height: 57.83 inches - 98%

Happy Birthday Rease!

Desh's Blessing Day

It was a special day for us today - Josh was able to give Desh a beautiful blessing at church.  We were surrounded by our family and good friends and I feel so blessed to have another new little one in our family.  Being a mother has been the biggest blessing of my life.  I'm grateful for Josh who is an amazing dad and husband and grateful for Baby Desh for joining us and completing our family!
I made these little bowties for all the boys and they all looked so handsome!

Liev and Keen's soccer team

The boys started their first season of soccer this spring.  They were so excited and got to be on the same team.  Josh volunteered to be the coach for their team and had fun being with the boys.  They had some pretty young players on their team so they didn't win very many games, but the boys had a blast!  And of course the best thing about playing is the treats at the end!

Rhen's Soccer team

Rhen loved playing spring soccer this year.  She was on a team with her friend Ethan and they had such a fun time together.  Their coach was so positive and great for them and it ended up being a great season for them!

Babies

Before I had Desh I still thought of Beck as a pretty little boy, my baby even.  It's funny how things can change literally overnight.  This is a picture of my new baby and my baby that has been kicked into boyhood just like that.  Love these two!

Rhen's Class

Rhen's class made this cute memory book for their last day of school.  She has made some really good friends this year and has loved her teacher.

End of year awards ceremony

The girls had their end of year awards ceremony today.  I was so proud of both of them because they each earned their Brilliant Bobcat, were both on the Principal's Honor Roll and earned the Good Citizen Student award!  They have both enjoyed school so much and are becoming such good students!  I couldn't be prouder of them!

2 weeks of Baby Desh

We sure love our sweet baby and can't stop taking pictures of his cuteness.  Here are 2 weeks worth of pictures of our little guy!

Rease year end projects

Some of Rease's year end art projects - she did an amazing job on them!

And this cute certificate for Rease from her teacher Miss Buker.

Sugar

My kids like to eat oatmeal in the mornings.  Of course they pile on the brown sugar and milk to make it taste delicious.  So why not just a bowl of brown sugar?  Let's skip the oatmeal today.
