Office Retreat 2011

Every year for our office retreat we take a day and go boating as an office. Pat has a boat along with dad's and Kilee's parents have jetskis so with everything together we have a day's worth of activities. We had a great day this year and the weather was perfect.

Hayley and I took a break to read while the others were out on the boats.

Grammie brought up this bucket of beads for the kids to play with and Rhen made an awesome necklace. Baby Liev was as cute as could be. He is learning how to smack his lips and that is what he is attempting in this picture. I love this sweet little boy.

For lunch - a 6 foot sub. It was the most enormous sandwich I've ever seen!

Fun day in the sun!

Bridezilla?

Rhen tries so hard to be independant these days. One of the phrases I hear most often is "I'll do it myself." That goes for putting on her clothes, strapping her shoes on, eating, getting in the car, etc. Changing into princess clothes is a daily occurence for the girls and that is also a time that Rhen has to "do it myself." I couldn't help laughing at the picture of her with her veil on that she can never get quite right. If its out of her face, she's happy - but doesn't she look a little bit like a crazy bride?

You go Miss Independant Princess!

6 months old

Hi everyone! I turned 6 months old this week and I wanted you all to know what I've been up to!

I'm a pro at tummy time. I play with my toys and just look cute most of the time. Sometimes when I am tired, I roll onto my back for a break.

My favorite things to play with when I'm on my back are my toes. They are delicious and squishy!
This week I got 2 new teeth! Mom knew they were coming because of all my drool. She thinks they're very cute and shows them off to everybody. For crying out loud mom, they're just teeth!

It has been a busy week. I also learned to hold my bottle on my own. For some reason mom thinks that's pretty awesome cause she kept taking pictures of me doing it. If I would have known it would make her so excited I would have started doing this sooner. Moms are so funny!
I also went to the doctor this week and he said I am doing "excellent!" Here are my stats:

Weight: 16.42 lbs - 28%

Height: 27.56 inches - 84%

Head:17.8 inches - 87%

Mostly I am just too cute! Thanks for checking in on me!

Losee Family Pictures

While Chad and family were here we decided it was time for a new family picture. The last picture we have together is when Rease and Nolan were about 6 months old, Caleb and Steph were not part of the fam yet and Garrett was still a pre-missionary. It was time.

It was a little bit more tricky with all the little kids that are now part of the family. I don't think there is one picture that everyone is looking at the same time. Regardless, they turned out great! Here are some of our favorites:

Mom and Dad wanted a picture with the grandkids. That was quite the task!

Minute to Win it

One day we had a "Minute to Win it" day with the family. Hayley and Caleb put the games together and separated us into teams of two. We had a day long tournament of games and had a fun time doing it...

"Hanky Panky"

"Elephant March"
"Junk in the Trunk"

"Suck it up"
"Baby Rattle"
"This Blows"
"Dizzy Mummy"
"Noodling Around" "Paper Dragon"

We also played horseshoes and ladder ball as part of the tournament.
I love this picture of Rease and Nolan. They were helping out gathering the props for ladder ball and then got disctracted by the horse. They look so cute together!
I'm not sure who ended up winning at the end of the day, but it doesn't matter. We had a great time together and everyone ended up with a prize!

Bees Game

Mom and dad took all of us to the Bees game one night while Chad's family was here. It was such a fun night at the ballpark.

Right in the middle of the game there was a rainstorm that came and went in about 3 minutes. It was enough to scare some of the crowd away, but we waited it out and the sun was out in no time.
"Take me out the the Ballgame!"

Yuba Lake

Chad and Britt and the kids came for their yearly summer trip. We did so many fun things together as a family including a camping trip to Yuba Lake. We had never been before and we were pleasantly suprised with our experience. The campground there is awesome with lots of trees, picnic tables, grass to play on and of course it's right on the lake. We got there in the afternoon and spent time playing games and just hanging out together.

Of course there were games that night.

This is a picture of our camp early the next morning. Everyone is still sleeping and all is peaceful.

As soon as the sun came up, we headed to the lake for a day of boating.
We had the most perfect day of skiing/wakeboarding. We were literally the only boat on the lake and the water was glass. We had plenty of time to give everyone as many turns as wanted and we had a blast together.

We will definitely be making a trip to Yuba Lake a yearly event!
