1/2 year old

Rease had her 6 month birthday and check-up on the 6th of December. Has it already been 6 months? I can't hardly believe it - but on the other hand, I can't imagine life without her.

6 month stats from Dr. Frei:

Weight: 18 lbs. 9 oz. - 91%
Height: 26.8 inches - 86%
Head: 18 inches - over 99%

So, as you can see from the numbers and the picture, Rease has a large head. So big that our Dr. is sending her for a CT scan today to make sure there's not something else going on. She assures me that it is most likely nothing, but last check-up she told me that if this time we didn't see her head growth start to taper off, then she would have us do this scan. So here we are again on our way up to Primary Children's Hospital today. I think she just has a dad with a big head, but we will see.

A close-up of her little chompers pokin through...

Rease's new favorite toy is her walker. She hasn't quite figured out how to move around very quickly, but she does go backwards pretty good. Look at those chunky legs though - they have to be good for moving herself around in the near future!

Cute pics of Rease

Josh dressed her Gangsta style.

Cheering on the Cougars!!

Rease loves her baths.

Learning to sit up on her own.

Early morning...

Well, I realize that it has been way too long since we posted anything...sorry. It has been a crazy month but with a lot of good stuff going on.

My sister Hayley and I took advantage of the early morning Black Friday sales and got our Christmas shopping done. I've always gone early but this year we decided to go really early so we wouldn't miss out on what we were looking for. We decided to go to Target and get everything in one shot. So Friday at 1:30 a.m. we headed out with blanket, pillows and treats to wait out the long night until it opened at 6:00. We actually weren't the only crazy ones - there were about 8 people in line when we got there. It ended up being an okay night - cold but we made it - and we had a great time doing it! Plus, best of all, I am completely done with my shopping. We aren't doing many gifts this year because we are taking a family trip, so that makes it easy for me. I couldn't put all my good deals on here because they are all for Josh - but maybe you'll get to see them after Christmas!

Delta Rabbit for Halloween

I dressed up as a bunny this year for Halloween and it was a great costume for me since I am a Delta Rabbit at heart.

Mom was a gypsy and we went trick-or-treating to some of our neighbors.
Dad didn't dress up at all and that's why he's not in the pictures - party pooper.

Uncle Andy came over and I love him very much....

I got really tired with everything going on and couldn't help but take a little nap...

I was really trying to keep my binky in - I did the best I could.

Then I played with daddy for a while.

He kissed me so much...

I finally had to tell him to stop!

It's a little bit hard to tell what uncle Joe has in his hand (and is feeding me) so let me zoom in...

Chocolate! I needed a good treat after the long night I had.

I hope everyone had as good of a Halloween as I did!!

Witches Night Out

Us girls got together and started a new tradition going to the Witches Night Out at Gardner Village.

We bought our hats plain and then decorated them together one night. We had a blast (and looked good, if I may say that!!)

And what's a witch without an air-guitar?

Roly Poly

There used to be a really cute video of Rease learning to roll over but Josh made fun of me because I helped her out a little bit and he said that it wasn't real - so I took it off.
Too bad because it was really cute.

Uncle Andy coming home....

We had quite an eventful week when Andy came home from his mission. The family started to gather a few days before and we had some great times together!

We had to take them up for tinfoil dinners before it got too cold (after this day, we decided it was our last time up for the year - it was too cold!)

Cute Jackson exploring...

Rease looking good in her new beanie...

Uncle Josh loves the nieces and nephews...

Davis is trying to play frisbee with Jackson...

Uncle Dan being crazy...

Kennedy loving up on Rease...

Grandma and Grandpa - don't they look great?

Good times with the Wolfley's

4 months old

Isn't our little Bubba so cute at 4 months?

We went to the doctor yesterday and she is doing great and growing up!

Weight: 14 lbs. 15 1/2 oz.

Height: 25 1/2 inches

Head size: 17.1 inches (which is the 98% for her age- she takes after her daddy)

Her doctor told us that we can start feeding her cereal now so we gave it a try this morning.

As you can see, most of it didn't get in her mouth.

I really thought she liked it and was keeping down most of what was going in her mouth...

I guess I was wrong.

I can't believe how big she is! My baby is growing up!
